The orca reaches out, and the distance between little girl and giant disappears into something simple and unspoken. Light filters through the water above, soft and distant, as if this moment exists somewhere just outside the waking world.
For a brief second, it feels like something magical, impossible to the eyes, but with a quiet certainty, it happens. As if the ocean had been holding it all along, waiting for the moment it could be felt.
