There’s something really special about the quiet moments out on the water. No dramatic waves, no bright sunset, just calm water, thick fog, and an orca slowly making its way through it all.
I wanted to keep this painting soft and minimal, with the distant islands and trees almost disappearing into the mist. I love the atmosphere of the Pacific Northwest, especially those foggy mornings when the landscape seems to fade away and everything feels incredibly still.
This one was all about simplicity, space and that feeling of watching an orca quietly pass by in the distance.
This painting is stretched and ready to hang.
