Cradled by the Lantern

'Cradled by the Lantern'
20 x 30 inches, oils on canvas

This piece captures a moment of calm that I wanted to feel — a fox resting quietly inside a lantern, glowing softly like a living ember. The warm light contrasts against the cool tones around it, creating that gentle balance between warmth and stillness.
I painted it to feel peaceful and alive, as if the fox itself became the flame keeping the forest lit. There’s a sense of quiet magic in it — something tender and glowing, not loud or dramatic, just quietly alive.
It’s one of those scenes that remind me how light doesn’t always come from fire — sometimes, it comes from life itself.

The painting comes stretched and ready to hang. Feel free to reach out to me for any queries.
