'Below the Horizon' captures one of those moments where silence says everything. I wanted to paint that feeling of floating above something far greater than ourselves — the quiet awareness that beneath the calm, there’s a living giant moving with grace and power.
The contrast between the bright yellow kayak and the deep blue ocean felt essential — it highlights how small we are, yet how deeply connected we can be to the vastness around us. Each brushstroke was about balance: calm and movement, surface and depth, man and nature.
Painting this felt like standing on the edge of the world, peering into infinity.
